Luna is a sweet little girl from China that just recently turned 7 years old and has waited a long time for a family to say yes.
Luna participated in a US host program and her host family shared their personal insights:
- Even with her limited speech, she seemed to learn quickly and was smart.
- She would do well in a family where she is the youngest (by a number of years) or an only child.
- She had some issues with balance, but seldom cried when she fell
In China, Luna has lived with a foster family for most of her life and she is very close with her foster mother. She is described as being beautiful and having a happy, outgoing disposition. She likes to play with other children. She has become a good eater and rarely gets sick.
Luna has a congenital cleft soft palate, which has not been repaired, and has associated delays in some areas, however Luna can speak simple works and phrases. Balance is difficult for Luna. Though she has a clear CT, Luna’s physical development has always been delayed compared to children her age.

**While we all may not be able to adopt, we are all able to help a child in many other ways. Sharing these children with your friends, family, civic/church groups and your social media circles is the best chance for these children’s voices to be heard and for their forever family to see them. We welcome and encourage the sharing of the Adopt(able) Waiting Child blog and Facebook page to help these wonderfully deserving children find a forever family of their own. Please share!**
