LATVIA HOST PROGRAM
Hosting from Latvia is an opportunity for children who have often been left behind, forgotten, or made to feel they don’t matter. Most of the children in hosting live in orphanages or foster families, and have been passed from hand to hand without receiving the direct care every child deserves. Hosting changes that – the unconditional love a family can provide gives children hope for a better future and a better life. Some of the children may not have had a family to call their own or may have had only negative memories of what family life is like. This is a chance for these children to see the difference and to be a part of a family. These are children who need to be shown they matter with the goal of helping them find the family they deserve.
