Gracie is an adorable 4 year old girl who has hepatitis B and cerebral palsy. Gracie was sent to a foster home when she was 1 year old. They made a scientific and systematic rehabilitation plan for her where she was able to receive daily and intensive training. She often teased her trainer! She giggled and would get the biggest smile on her face. It was noted that she made great progress at the foster home! A recently received update on Gracie and her caretakers note that she has some language delays compared to her peers. She can crawl and stand on her own but she does have some motor skill delays. Gracie made a healthy attachment to one of her nannies. When the nanny walked by, she’d make a noise to get her attention and stretched her arms out to be held. Her caretakers have described her as being smart!
