I have stared at this gentle and sweet face for the past two years, all the while hoping his family would see him and see the same perfect little boy I do.
David is a sweet little boy from China who is now 7 years old. David is deaf. He has some general developmental delays due to his special need and communicates through gestures. He is soon to begin attending deaf school to start learning sigh language. David is able to understand simple instructions that his caregivers give him.
While it is difficult for David to convey his his thoughts and feelings with others without voice or sign; David’s happy, gentle nature and kindness are a language of their own and speak for themself. David gets along well with others and enjoys playing with his friends. David’s caretakers say that he has good self-care abilities like being able to go to the bathroom by himself and putting on his clothes by himself.
An agency representative met David in China earlier this year and she would be happy to speak with any interested family about him.
VIDEO Available: David has video available with his agency for families looking to learn more about this little boy.

**While we all may not be able to adopt, we are all able to help a child in many other ways. Sharing these children with your friends, family, civic/church groups and your social media circles is the best chance for these children’s voices to be heard and for their forever family to see them. We welcome and encourage the sharing of the Adopt(able) Waiting Child blog and Facebook page to help these wonderfully deserving children find a forever family of their own. Please share!**
